2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z UG Launched in India at ₹1.92 Lakh

The 2025 Pulsar NS400Z UG, which retails for Rs. 1.92 lakh (ex-showroom), has been formally introduced by Bajaj in India. Numerous mechanical and performance improvements are included in the upgraded model, which should improve its overall capabilities.

The 2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z UG’s core engine is the same 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, but it now generates 42.4bhp instead of 39.5bhp. The engine is still mated to a six-speed gearbox, and its peak torque of 35 Nm stays the same. The addition of a bi-directional quickshifter, which allows for smoother, clutch-free gearshifts, is a big highlight.

With the goal of providing better traction in both wet and dry circumstances, Bajaj has swapped out the previous 140-section MRF Revz rear tire for a wider 150-section Apollo Alpha H1 unit. Although it is now an Apollo H1 unit, the front tire still has a 110/70-R17 size. These are a great pair of dual-compound tires that provide a decent mix of durability and outright grip.

The braking system has yet another pleasant improvement. In place of the previous organic configuration, the Pulsar NS400Z UG now has sintered brake pads. These should lessen brake fade and enhance bite and feel, though we haven’t tested the bike yet.

These improvements raise the new NS400Z UG’s overall worth for just over Rs. 7,000 more. Bajaj dealerships nationwide are accepting reservations, and delivery will soon start.
