Now the year is still young and there is a lot of change expected but for now, take a peek at what we feel are the best bikes of 2023 as of August.

Royal Enfield Hunter 350

Royal Enfield Hunter 350

The Hunter 350 has captured the attention of the entire motorcycle market in 2023, outperforming its rivals in terms of both performance and fuel mileage. The Hunter 350 has attracted the interest of gearheads and novice riders alike. It has a starting price of 1,50,000 and is offered in three variations that cost up to 1,97,000 making it the best value-for-money product, depending on the model. Its style is influenced by the neo-roadster aesthetic, and it has an eye-catching single-piece seat that is placed lower than typical. The motorcycle manages to keep its weight at a modest 190 kg despite having several remarkable features like a strong 349cc engine that unleashes a pleasing 20.2 bhp of power and a solid torque of 27 nm powers the Hunter350’s core.

On the breaking front, the Hunter 350 clocks in with an anti-lock braking system that has become the industry standard. In terms of weight, the 350 is about 181 kg heavy and has a fuel capacity of 13 liters. Possibly its most impressive achievement however is being awarded the Indian Motorcycle of the Year award at IMOTY 2023.

Yamaha MT 15 V2

The V2 of the Yamaha MT 15 is what is referred to as a street bike with a starting price of 2,00,000 in India. Thus far it is only available in one variant powered by a 155cc BS6 engine and a torque of 14.1 nm. The new version of this bike has received major updates to its predecessor but the most noticeable one is the inclusion of a traction control system.
The design of the bike remains unchanged in both Versions as well as its mechanical specifications except with an onboard diagnostics system that monitors the emission levels in real-time to help with the upkeep of the bike as a whole.

TVS Ronin

The TVS Ronin is the company’s first iteration of what they are referring to as a non-neo rambler bike. It costs 1,49,000 and is available in 3 variants The TVS Ronin is powered by a 225.9cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 20.1 bhp and a torque of 19.93 Nm. This bike is suitable for city traffic and long road trips and has been fitted with the rider’s comfort as a top priority. The Ronin, just like its predecessor has an oil-cooled motor with an engine linked to a five-speed gearbox which makes it ideal for both inter and intra-city travel.

Hero Splendor Plus

With its 97cc BS6 engine, it’s hard to find many better alternatives to the Splendor Plus. Weighing in at 110kgs and a fuel capacity of 9.8 litres it is still the best-selling product of Hero Motocorp. Hero did launch the new Black and Accent variation and the 100 million Edition to keep the public interested even if the motorcycle’s appearance hasn’t changed. The wheels, motor, and chain cover are all black in the newer variants.
