The VIDA VX2 electric scooter was released in India for Rs. 59,490.

Hero MotoCorp has launched its latest entry-level electric scooter in India, the VIDA VX2. The scooter is available in two variants and is also offered with a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) subscription model.

The VX2 Plus and VX2 Go are the two versions, and both come with the option of a subscription plan. The VX2 Plus costs Rs. 1.10 lakh, while the VX2 Go costs Rs. 99,490 when purchased alone. The VX2 Go and VX2 Plus retail for Rs. 59,490 and Rs. 64,990, respectively, under the BaaS model. Prices listed are ex-showroom. VIDA claims that the cost of running is Rs. 0.96 per kilometer, and the BaaS plans are based on daily running and consumption trends.

Vida VX2 Plus and Vida VX2

Two detachable 3.4kWh battery packs that provide an IDC range of 142km on a single charge are included with the VIDA VX2 Plus. The VX2 Go, on the other hand, has a single 2.2kWh battery pack with a 92km IDC range. According to VIDA, a rapid charger can charge the battery pack from 0% to 80% in an hour. It takes six hours for a bundled charger to charge from 0% to 80%.

The only scooter with cloud connectivity and remote immobilization is the VIDA VX2. A 4.3-inch TFT display (LCD unit on VX2 Go), turn-by-turn navigation, and live ride data are additional connectivity features.

With seven color options, the VIDA VX2 has a contemporary yet recognizable appearance. The VX2 Go model has a 33.2-liter underseat storage space that is said to accommodate a full-face helmet. Watch this space for the first ride review of the VIDA VX2 on BikeWale.
